Even More Early Works is a collection of early niche progressions by Derek Evers.
It's to be noted that 2 of the songs do contain elements from Evers' friends as well. The tracks contain additional production by Evers' prior to the release of the album.
The Kid Can Drive is on his summer road-trip to the cottage, it's the 80s now. The economy has been gettng worse for a while. Evers' (enjoying 80s funk and NES music) and his friends (enjoying lame new-wave music)
are listening to a variety of songs, preparing for the party.
However, people's pets keep running out in front of Evers' car. Evers' must avoid accidents, and is forced to run over each pet. After each pet is hit by at least one wheel, his friends keep saying, 'The Kid Can Drive!'
This is totally un-cool, and the economy slowly erodes into a new great depression.
The album contains songs produced with a mix of production and audio recording styles.
It contains real instrumentation, modelled instruments, synthesizers, some realistic drums, and recorded vocals. Each song has additional production, to level out the master tracks.
The album has been released online-only, distributed through CDBaby, available at the popular music sites.
