Uriel 2 is an upcoming platform RPG, designed by Derek Evers. It is the successor to Uriel, one of Evers' early games.

Microsoft and many people in the video game community, via
In the game, the player controls Uriel, who can jump, use weapons, but can only physically move right, towards the end of the level. The player tries to collect coins, before reaching the boss.
The boss is fought in a turn-based system, using buttons. When the boss is defeated, the player is brought to a store, where the player is able to use the collected coins to purchase items that help the player during the quest.
As the game progresses, each level and boss becomes more difficult.
It is also notable that Uriel 2 is designed in a 2D game engine, but Evers' has designed the graphics to create a 2.5D optical illusion.
